The Prospect is a tall, daunting presence from the underworld. He does not talk because his right-hand man, the Cloak, does all the talking for him. The Cloak has no eyes, but he does have a large mouth, so he speaks, whereas the Prospect has no mouth, but he does have large yellow eyes, so he is always watching. The Cloak and Prosphect always appear in pairs, and when they arrive, your current moment is likely to be your last.

When the Prospect strikes you with his sword, your whole life flashes before your eyes, but not only the past—your future goals, accomplishments, & prospects also show up, giving a taste of what you could be but will never come to achieve. This makes the Prospect's attack more painful and regretful than a typical stab.

Affiliations

The Prospect is associated with Lucifer's Inner Circle, a group of demonic beings destined to wreak havoc on the living and on the worlds of the physical. The Inner Circle has only one purpose: to serve Lucifer and follow all that he desires. This mainly entails corrupting the minds of the innocent and the good in order to bring them down to a darker, twisted level.

Powers & Abilities

The Prospect is a massive presence with enhanced speed, strength, and durability. Also, he is effectively immortal, being immune to death. The only way to slay the Prospect is to eliminate the Cloak; however, if the Cloak lives, then the Prospect is essentially unkillable.

The swipe of the Prospect's sword or the lash of his mace is the equivalent of getting hit by the blast of a rocket launcher.

The Prospect also gives out an aura of discomfort, allowing him to manipulate the minds of his victims with his psionic powers.
